Victory for Trig and Enable Scotland

October 13, 2017

One year ago Trig’s first foray into the tense and highly competitive world of the charity quiz night saw the company team left narrowly defeated.

Last night a re-energised team shot to victory, raising money along the way for Enable Scotland, a charity that supports those with learning disabilities and champions their rights as equal members of society.

Michael Page recruitment hosted their annual charity quiz at the Revolution, Edinburgh. Trig’s Paul Condy was the recipient of the award. Paul said, “We were determined to improve on our team performance from last year. I’d like to say that our training sessions during the last year were exhaustive. In reality we pulled together some smart guys and ate our way through a number of company fund raising cakes sales!”

The competition featured seven rounds of gruelling and mind stretching questions that included; sports, music, images, general knowledge, science and nature, geography and 2017. Trig’s quiz masters won every round and surged to victory, helped of course by tactically buying answers, trump cards and jokers (all for charity of course).

Trig team member Alex Stallman said, “It was a great night enjoyed by everyone. What was most important was hearing how Enable has made such a positive difference to peoples’ lives. These are the ones who deserve the credit – our team were humbled to support a great cause. Enable is doing such valuable work in the community for children and adults with learning disabilities.”
